This research has focused on optically triggered, high gain noninear GaAs switches for high speed, high pwoer microwave generation. A microstrip and a parallel-plate pulse generator have been constructed and tested. The experimetnal results are reported. Further studies on opticall ytriggered, high gain, nonlinear PCSS are proposed.
