The circuit (1) comprises two direct current (DC) terminals (P,M) that are connected to a DC voltage intermediate circuit (2). An alternating current terminal (W) is arranged between the upper and lower power semiconductor switches (60-1-60-6). The respective power semiconductor switches is comprised of a drive device (50). A locking device (3) is adapted to lock the respective power semiconductor switches to prevent the simultaneously switching-on of the power semiconductor switches.
