摘要

Ambient temperature molten salts are useful for a growing variety of chemical and electrochemical processes.We have studied the use of acidic AlCl_3/l-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride (EMIC)melts for the deposition of aluminum on Au with special emphasis on the Al underpotential deposition (UPD)and the formation of Al/Au alloys in the potential range of Al UPD.Here,we further study Al deposition with the electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM)in ambient temperature acidic AICl_3/EMIC with benzene as co-solvent.
