This presentation will report on the design and performance of an insulated infrared spectroelectro-chemical cell that is capable of operation at temperatures other than ambient.The cell is built around a glass chamber that holds electrolyte solution and the working and counter electrodes.The front of the chamber consists of an o-ring seal joint onto which the cell window mounts.The glass chamber is insulated and secured inside an aluminum jacket.The aluminum jacket provides support for the glass chamber and thermal stability during spectral measurements.Cell operation up to 80 deg C is demonstrated through studies of the surface electrochemistry of CO and methanol.
