Gas dispersion in a congested,partially confined volume

摘要

This paper gives a summary of work carried out in ajoint industry project to study the dispersion of high pressure gas releases in a congested,partially confined volume.A total of 66 experiments was undertaken in a test rig that represented at full scale,an offshore process module of the type in operation in the North Sea.Work was carried out to analyze and interpret the data collected in the test program.This paper summarizes the findings from the work and discusses the results and conclusions arising from the project.
