Constructing roads over soft soils - Tungku Link Road, Brunei

摘要

This paper examines major highway construction over an area of highly compressible soils in Brunei. Two areas are addressed within the paper; these being the provision of transition structures at culvert approaches, and the construction of high embankments in a limited construction period.
