A Questionnaire Survey of Usage Situation and Traffic Incidents of Driver Support Systems

摘要

The purpose of this study is to obtain basic knowledge for effects and issues of driver support systems using a questionnaire survey. Survey questionnaires about usage situation and traffic incidents of ACC (adaptive cruise control system) from 2,079 volunteers were used for this study. Understanding about driver support systems especially adaptive cruise control systems, experience in cruise control systems, detail of traffic incidents in system working, and relationship between usual driving attitude and usage situations of cruise control systems were analyzed.
