European Registries on NCL

In 1996, funding was obtained from the European Union for an NCL Concerted Action project (ECA-NCL). One of the principal objectives was to establish a European NCL Clinical Case Registry which would form the basis for further genetic and epidemiological studies as well as for possible future therapeutic trials. This has now been set up in the Department of Paediatrics, University College London Medical School, London, UK.
