High temperature corrosion resistance of newly developed Cr-based alloy coatings

摘要

Huge amount of waste both from houses and industries is burned to reduce its volume in Japan. Recently the size of waste incinerator becomes larger and the burning temperature is also higher to reduce generation of dioxin. The high temperature and severe corrosive environment shortens the lifetime of components of incinerator inside wall. The heat generated by burning of waste is not effectively utilized, because severe corrosive environment also shortens the lifetime of boiler tubes.
