Gearshift Model of Manual Transmission of Light Duty Vehicles

摘要

There is no method to establish gearshift schedule of light duty vehicles with manual transmission in transient driving cycle. The authors analyzed factors of gearshift of light duty vehicles with manual transmission based on in-use data, and examined the function of gearshift. As a result, the function of gearshift with vehicle speed, acceleration, and engine speed, was developed to able to apply in transient driving cycle. And, the gearshift schedule influences the fuel economy.
