Gearshift of manual transmission for light duty vehicles - first report on factors influencing the gearshift

摘要

There is no method for establishing a gearshift schedule for the transient cycle in light-duty vehicles with manual transmission. This paper analyzed factors of the gearshift of light duty vehicles with manual transmission based on in-use data, and examined the function of gearshift. As a result the authors could produce the gearshift function of vehicle speed. Acceleration, and engine speed, and they were able to apply it to the transient cycle.
