摘要

This paper proposes a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) feedback control system that uses engine torque and the CVT speed ratio as two inputs to trace both the desired vehicle acceleration and the CVT primary rotational speed determined by the optimal efficiency characteristics. By designing these feedback control objects, which are directly linked to driveability and fuel economy, we can improve driveability and fuel economy simultaneously and robustly under both steady-state and transient conditions. In this paper, we designed the control scheme concretely, and the results of simulations and experimental driving tests are given to prove the usefulness of the proposed scheme.
