Air conditioning duct with resistor flow analysis automatically generated solution adaptive mesh

摘要

The automobile conditioning duct development using CFD is an effective tool to shorten the development period and reduce the number of trial products. But air conditioning duct with resistor is difficult to make computational meshes because of complicated figure of resistor. Therefore it was difficult to attain both the accuracy and a short analysis period. This time automatically generated solution adaptive mesh were used to compare the accuracy and analysis period. It is found that duct with resistor flow analysis using automatically generated solution adaptive mesh can be used effectively on product design stages.
