Motorcycles riding test for construction of common database of dynamic characteristics - Riding test results of a small displacement class motorcycle

In Two Wheeled Vehicle Dynamics Committee, our working group for common data of motorcycle characteristics was established in order to construct common riding test and take common data of motorcycles characteristics. Our working group has carried out motorcycles riding tests in two times and succeeds to get data of motorcycle characteristics and to select sensors which are useful to the test. In this paper, the way of motorcycles riding test which is defined in detail and the running test for a small displacement class motorcycle is done. It is verified from the experimental results that our tests is well done and the useful data are obtained.
