摘要

To investigate drivers' brake initiation timing near the situation of collision avoidance, conceptual driver model is introduced and the brake initiation timing is formulated by the performance index of approach and alienation. In this report, first, it is shown that the judgment line of brake initiation obtained from high μ condition by a test driver can distinguish normal safe driving data and crash data. Further it is shown that the judgment line can be adapted to low u condition by changing coefficients of the judgment line obtained in high μ. This result can be interpreted that the change of braking start timing according to the environment or driver condition, personality can be expressed by the parameter variation of the brake judgment line.
