By utilizing a driving simulator which is able to move horizontally to simulate sway stimulation and visual stimulation during lateral wind disturbance, we measured the posture change, the eyeball movement and the corrective steering behavior under various lateral wind conditions. As a result, we elucidated the relation between motion perception characteristic from the variation of lateral wind conditions and the avoidance behavior of the driver.
