Development of Riding Trainer for Safety Riding Education and Its Features

An important factor for safe riding of a motorcycle in mixed traffic conditions is the ability to predict risks. The Riding Trainer has been developed to serve as a training instrument for risk prediction. Its control unit is designed to be connected to a general personal computer through a USB terminal as a human interface controller. To urge the rider to deepen the risk prediction capability, automatic replay function is added. With the reduced cost and less space requirement, this Riding Trainer is easier to introduce than previous riding simulators, and expected to contribute to pervasion of risk prediction training.
