Development of Driving Simulator in Emergency Driving Operation

摘要

A Driving Simulator (DS) is developed for the purpose to measure the characteristics of a driver's behaviors in emergency situation. The motion of DS construct with a translational motion, an inclinational motion, a 6-axes motion. DS is able to simulate the acceleration about 6.0 m/s{sup}2. DS is used for analysis of driver characteristics, simulation of traffic accident, evaluation of driving support systems, evaluation method of DS performance.
