摘要

The objective of this study is to reduce Cd of the vehicle focusing on its underflow. In this report, several semi-complex underbody elements, i.e., wheel house, center cavity (imitating exhaust pipe) and rear cavity (rear suspension) were examined, using ASMO body for upper body, in terms of investigating their effects on the underbody flow and interactions of upper and underbody flows. CFD code FrontFlow-red is used with tetrahedral elements. The results via standard k-ε model and RSM are also compared and discussed.
