摘要

The authors have studied the reduction of exhaust emissions by using high boosted single cylinder engine of heavy duty diesel. The boost pressure has been raised up to 5 times high of natural aspirated engine. The increase of boost pressure causes high friction losses, also effects the pumping losses greatly. There are a few reports of frictions about changing boost pressure widely and authors report the result of friction losses in high boost diesel engine.
