Effect of seat vibration on sleepiness of a driver under a long-term exposure of interior noise of a small diesel truck - Effect of low frequency vibration below 20Hz

摘要

An effect of seat vibration to the sleepiness of a driver above 20Hz has been studied so far under a long-term exposure of truck interior noise. This paper describes the effect of seat vibration to the sleepiness of a driver below 20Hz as well as above 20Hz. The relation between the sleepiness and physiological responses such as heart beat fluctuation, brain waves and skin resistance are also discussed.
