摘要

Recently in the design of automobile, human safety is an important design factor to evaluate the safety of automobile. Crash tests have provided information on dummy response measurenents, such as the maximum chest acceleration, head injurycriteria (HIC) value and femur loading. Optimal design for seat belt together with considering the deformation behavior of vehicle cabin, to reduce the injury of human, is the subject of this research. The application example shows that the MostProbable Optimal Design (MPOD) method initial by authors is an effective approach to save the computation cost.
