摘要

This paper describes a design method for improving steady-state ride comfort through the use of a vehicle system model. The model can reproduce seat vibration accurately and calculate evaluation index values for steady-state ride comfortphenomena. It has been confirmed that the evaluation index values correspond well with subjective evaluation results obtained in driving tests in which the characteristics of such parts as the bushings and shock absorbers were changed. It is expected that this new method will contribute to more efficient car design work by enabling designers to determine part characteristics so that ride comfort matches subjective evaluation targets.
