Introduction effect of a photovoltaic solar heat/cogeneration system (PV·SC/CG system ) is influenced on the operation method of the system. In this study, reduction effect of the CO{sub}2 emission and economy of the PV·SC/CG system are calculated for different operation method of the system. The PV output and solar heat energy are determined using the weather data, the gas engine output is determined with the dynamic programing. It is found that (1) In case of the PV·SC/CG system introduced in hospital, the CO{sub}2 emission reduces by 2 point in cost min. operation, but 8 point in CO{sub}2 min. operation. (2) In case of the PV·SC/CG system introduced in hotel, the CO{sub}2 emission reduces by 8 point in cost min. operation, but 9 point in CO{sub}2 min. operation.
