摘要

A study of the effects of various design parameters on the performance of solid desiccant cooling system is performed experimentally and analytically with computer simulation program. The cooling system uses silica gel packed bed as desiccant and rock bed which is cooled by outdoor air in midnight as exhausted heat absorber and operates intermittently in a diurnal cycle. The design parameters include silica gel type,(micro pore type and meso- pore type) particle size, packed bed thickness of airflow direction. As a result of the study, it is shown that the desiccant cooling system with solar air system is feasible.
