PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desiccant air conditioner preventing dew condensation from forming within a desiccant rotor to prevent a decrease in its dehumidifying ability even when it is operated for many hours and a refrigerating cycle which combines the desiccant air conditioner with a cooling device using a hydrogen storage alloy.;SOLUTION: The desiccant air conditioner which has a desiccant rotor which releases moisture into regenerated air passing through a regenerating area after absorbing moisture contained in both processed air passing through a processing area and purged air passing through a purging area; a processing line provided to pass trough the processing area; a purge line provided to pass through the purging area; and a regenerating line provided to pass through the regenerating area, and in which the downstream side of the purging line of the desiccant rotor joins the upstream side of the regenerating line of the desiccant rotor, is provided with a dehumidifying means for dehumidifying the purged air in the purge line on the upstream side from the desiccant rotor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
