Goal identification becomes increasingly important in these days of complexity and diversity. Up to now, we have been taught on how to solve the problem with the goal definitely defined. But from now on, how to find the goal and how we can tailorour resources toward the problem solving become a critical issue. We propose a new concept Convergent Knowledge Generation here. The concept of CKG is fostered through our experience from our shared class with Stanford University ME210/310. It providesvideo conference system, web based file share folder, and human resource categorize system for student, etc. They are very useful for on-campus students. But not for off-campus students, because off-campus students are freer from constraints, i.e.,physical classroom constraints but they have to consider asynchronous communication on the other hand. In order to set up a suitable goal in the many combinatoric cases, a systematic method is needed. And this system must be capable of easily managingthousands of resources and each process must be communicated In an asynchronous manner. Although a user must send many pieces of informations at the same time to get a enough performance. But interruptions, which often occur, brings about confusion on the part of a user and timely catch up is very difficult. To solve this problem, we must establish a systematic communication methodology. This system is very dynamic because the network of resources and the schedule of your partner are changed very often.Thus, a simple method to integrate human and information processing is very important for facilitating a network communication.We proposed the concept of Convergent Knowledge Generation and developed the CKG framework which provide rules to describe the resources network. The CKG framework provides the information about how to describe a network. CKG proposes that mostcommunication processes can be expressed by two typical processes, i.e. encounter process and digestion process. The CKG framework uses two kinds of nodes which are Player and Carrier, and two kinds of directional arcs which are Encounter and Digestion to describe these two processes as a network. We call this unit network as CKG unit network. Introducing this CKG framework can easily represent the communication processes.
