External Cavity Wavelength Tunable Laser Utilizing On-Chip VOA

摘要

We demonstrated an external cavity wavelength tunable laser using a novel gain chip with monolithically integrated VOA function. Over 15-dBm output power and an output power tuning range of 55 dB were obtained over the whole C-band.
