Managing the risks facing industrial site owners by outsourcing wastewater treatment plant operation and management

The risks facing industrial waste water treatment plant owners are well documented, and include health and safety and environmental factors which must be balanced against the financial costs. An operation and management strategy focussed on targeting and monitoring key performance parameters must be adopted to drive down operating costs without compromising the risk of failures. This paper will detail two case studies where outsourcing the operation and management of the plant demonstrated real benefits to the customer.
