Chernobyl experience and new technology in environmental impact estimation and scientific support of emergency response.

Starting from 1991, the state program includes special section directly related to the information-analytical support of works in the framework of the program. IBRAE RAS was charged to perform this task. In subsequent years, in the framework of the Russian programs, this section was still present; it is suggested by the program for 1998-2000. In the beginning of 1994, the EMERCOM of the RF was charged to coordinate works; it helped to use the gained experience in a more effective manner when developing the Russian System of Emergency Situations. Certain interesting and significant in practical aspect results seem to be obtained in this direction.
