High pressure water jet, a novel and high technology mainly applied in cleaning, cutting, breaking, dust-falling and grouting, has found wide application in branches of national economy and national defense with a large number of workers employed in the line. Severe human injures may well be caused by water jet. For this reason, the paper has discussed and analyzed the causes with corresponding safety measures against them suggested.
