The application of rapid prototyping iin the metal mold productioon for EPC

Teh processes of using the Rapid Portotyping (RP) technology to produce metal pattern or mold are introduced.The ways of producing the metal mold for Evaporative pattern Casting (EPC)_ by the Laminated Object Manufacturing (LOM) of the RP technology are discussed.Some metal molds for EPC practice are made by combining the LOM prototype with the transferred silica rubber mold or the filmed prototype.
