摘要

This paper deals with a flatly supported vibratory gyro-sensor using a trident-type tuning fork resonator. This type of a gyro-sensor has such a specific merit that two flexural vibration modes of trident-tuning-fork arms, in its surface-plane only, are applied; and therefore it can be constructed as a very thin form. That is, in this paper, are dealt with basic experimental investigations to confirm the operational principle of this type gyro-sensor. The results have proved that construction of a flatly supported trident-type tuning fork resonator proposed by us surely operated as a piezoelectric vibratory gyro-sensor.
