The key comparison CCAUV.V-K1 is the first of its kind in the field of shock and vibration. It was organized to compare measurements of sinusoidal linear accelerations in the frequency range from 40 Hz to 5 kHz. During the circulation period from January 2000 to June 2001, 12 national metrology institutes from five metrology organizations calibrated two accelerometers as transfer standards. The measurement results reported for the charge sensitivity of the accelerometers at different frequencies are analyzed. The data analysis focuses on five different methods for determining the key comparison reference values. It is shown that the computed results for the reference values and their uncertainties are "robust" with respect to the method of computation. For this particular comparison, the weighted mean method can be suggested for determining the reference values. To show the present calibration capabilities of the participating laboratories, the degrees of equivalence are determined on the basis of the measurement results of all participants.
