CO_2 disposal into the ocean by gas lift method (GLAD system)

摘要

We propose the GLAD (Gas Lift AdvancedDissolution) system to mitigate the effects of global warming. Itis a newly developed system for CO_2 disposal into the oceanby means of a gas-lift pump and has an inverse-J pipeline set inthe sea at a depth of 200-3000m. In the present paper, theperformance of the GLAD is examined experimentally andnumerically. Moreover its engineering and economicalfeasibility will be discussed.
