The shaft fretting fatigue and slot wedges optimal design

摘要

The fretting fatigue strength analysis of large shafts is carried out. The calculations, on the basis of recently offered model, permit to propose more efficient means to stave off fretting fatigue danger of currently operating shafts and todevelop some recommendations for optimal shaft design. The fatigue strength quantitative evaluations have been obtained.
