Described in the paper is the in site testing results for determination of rockmass elastic moduli of a nuclear powerstation. The tests were conducted in three boreholes of the nuclear island ground base using the borehole jack method, with a max. testing depth of 110m. The assessment on the variation law of elastic moduli with depths and the anisotropy of the rockmass has been carried out in accordance with testing results. BJ-110 Borehole Jack developed by IRSMCAS was used for testing, both advantages and performance of BJ-110 are described in brief.
