A FMECA Research for Improving the Reliability of the Fuel Injuection System of Diesel Engine

The goal of the failure modes, effects and cirticality analysis (FMECA) is to anticipate, identify and avoid failure in the operation of a new system while the system is still on the drawing board. FMECA has been successfully used in both aerospace and automobile industries for enhancing the assembly manufacturing reliability of the product aboard. The fuel injection system of diesel engine has a improtnat position in the relia ility research of diesel engines because of its complex structure and hard operating conditions.
