摘要

For the evaluation of total exchange areas needed in zonal analysis in diesel engines, a code was designed in wcich the MOnte Carlo method was used. In this code, both the absorbing-emitting media and the complex sturcture of cylinder can be treated with ease. In the present study, a system of in-cylinder is idvided into 9 surface zones and 3 gas zones, and every zone has different radiative properties.
