Study of MIxture Heterogeneity and its Effects on Flame Propagation

An experiental study was conducted in a constant volume combustion chamber to investigate the flame propagation characteristics in the presence of nn-homogeneous concentration distributions of the fuel-air mixture. The correlations between the flame structures and the flame propagation speeds with different levels of non-homogenoeous mixture distributions were investigated in detail.
