A mathematical method to aid multi-point adjustment on machine-tool or production line by using computer

It is a difficult problem to adjust machine tool or production line properly, when there are many adjusting parameters on machine tool or production line and they affect the results of many measurement points on the workpiece. This paper gives a mathematical method for adjusting them with the aid of a computer which is based on least squares.
