Thermal analysis in multilayer cold plates

摘要

The alternative Green's function solution method is used to solve for the temperature field in a multilayer cold plate. The effect of the contact conductance is included in the analysis through modification of the Heat-Flux-Conserving basisfunction. A series of parametric studies are performed. It is concluded that the reciprocal of the contact conductance, or the thermal resistance, existing on the surface between adjacent layers should be as minimum as possible.
