Newly isolated Pseudomonas sp. 8309 was isolated from soil as lipase producing microorganisms. The lipase enzymatic characteristics include: optimum pH 10.0; stable pH range 5.8-10.6; optimum temperature 45 deg C; stable at 55 deg C. The lipase activities was inhibited by Cu~2+; Hg~2+; Fe~3+ and surfactants, activated by K~+; Ca~2+; Mg~2+ Li~+ and 0.5
