Gold-vapor laser glass type is a new laser for photodynamic therapy (PDT). Its chief characteristics are pulse type, 6000 - 7000 Hz of frequency, 627.8 nm in wavelength, 3 - 4 watts output, etc. By changing laser energy density, we noticed changes of necrosis depth and surface temperature. The results show that the depth of groups of 500, 1000, 1500, and 2000 Jol/cm$+2$/ were 0.62 $POM 0.21, 0.72 $POM 0.05, 0.97 $POM 0.10, and 1.56 $POM 0.13 cm (p $LS 0.05), respectively. This study indicates that the pulse laser energy density should be larger than that of a continuant one in PDT, thus photodynamic effect may be improved in the clinic. The surface tumor temperature was changed during the treatment, reaching as high as 39.13$DGR@C, 43.78$DGR@C, 44.16$DGR@C, and 43.5$DGR@C in different groups. This paper also discusses the coordinated effects of hyperthermia and photodynamic therapy.
