Based on the operation status of Shanghai subway network, this paper sorts out and analyzes the main factors that affect the train travel speed, analyzes whether these factors can be further optimized from the operation level, and gives the corresponding optimization methods, and then designs the combined optimization scheme of train travel speed optimization factors based on orthogonal test, and finally verifies and analyzes the case of Shanghai Metro Line 12. Results show that after combinatorial optimization, the travel speed of Line 12 was increases by 5.92%, and the interval of driving from 4 minutes to 3 minutes and 47 seconds.
