(1996) FILM AND EDUCATION: STARTING OVER AS A REFUGEE IN IDAHO, U.S

摘要

This essay intends to share how students in a course titled Documentary Production: InterviewingRefugees and Immigrants, an interdisciplinary course offered in Summer 2014 at Boise StateUniversity, were able to produce a documentary on the refugee community in Boise, Idaho. The classallowed students to engage in learning about the Refugee community, the newest members in Boise,Idaho, but also in learning new facets of the refugee community, through the assigned readings andthe interviews that constituted the raw data of the documentary. The final version of the student'swork, a documentary, was supervised by Italian director, Fabio Caramaschi, and titled: Starting OverAgain: The Refugee Experience in Boise, Idaho.
