摘要

Nowadays exists a gap between what is taught in the traditional educational-pedologic, and the graduates requirements looking employers. This paper evidences how the service-learning methodology can improve the soft skills in university student with effective results. The legal framework of Ecuadorian Higher Education allows to Escuela Superior Politecnica del Litoral applies a service-learning methodology through the development of social projects. The (1) constantly interaction between professors, students and community; (2) the guidance of professors; (3) developing the activities in a real environment; and (4) applying the technical knowledge for pursuing real outcomes, provide the basic frame to structure service-learning process to train soft skills to students.
