POD-assisted projective integration method for incompressible Navier-Stokes Equations

We have investigated the POD-assisted projective integration method for solving the Navier-Stokes equation based on the equation-free framework. The demonstration of the method is done on the flow past a two-dimensional airfoil (NACA0012) at the Reynolds number of 800. The efficiency of the method in reducing the computational time while maintaining satisfactory accuracy in both transient and periodic solutions is discussed.
