In this research involves the study molecular electronic energy levels, linear optical properties and fluorescence spectrum for (malachite-green) dye in different solvents such as water and chloroform in different concentrates(1×10~(-4), 0.5×10~(-4), 0.2×10~(-4),1×10~(-5),0.5×10~(-5)) ML. This research also involves some opinions and discussions that are related to the clarification of the effect of solvents and concentrates which effect on the absorption and fluorescence spectra for this dye. In the result by using (UV-VIS) spectra can be calculated the excited levels of molecular electronic transitions. Three transitions obtained from type (n→π~*) in wavelengths (316, 425, 617) nm when solving dye in the water and (318,430,647) nm when solving dye in the chloroform. Through the fluorescence spectra, it was determined the level of the molecular electronic emission in the wavelength (425nm) when the dye solving in the water and (430nm) when the dye solving in the chloroform in a high intensities and it is increased by the increasing of concentration. We got a transfer from type (n→π~*) for both solvent. Linear optical properties were studied through the transmission spectrum of the five concentrations and we observed increased linear absorption and refraction coefficients with increasing concentration.
