METHOD FOR MEASURING THE CONCENTRATION OF MALACHITE GREEN BY ADJUSTING pH CONCENTRATION OF A MALACHITE GREEN SOLUTION

PURPOSE: A method for measuring the concentration of malachite green is provided to specify pH concentration and a change of the property of malachite green.;CONSTITUTION: A method for analyzing a malachite green solution comprises the steps of adjusting pH concentration of the malachite green solution using an acetate buffer; and measuring the concentration of malachite green. The acetate buffer has pH 4.6. The adjustment comprises the steps of: adding HCl (1.0 M, 100 microliter) and NaOH (1.0 M, 100 microliter) to each malachite green solution (5 mg/L, 5 mL) and equilibrating; and adding 3 mL of each equilibrated solution to the acetate buffer (3mL, pH 4.6) and measuring the concentration of chromatic MG^+ at 618 nm.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
